Caballero, U.S. Olympians make weight for Fox Sports card

Undefeated bantamweight prospect Randy Caballero weighed in at the division limit of 118 pounds for his scheduled 10-round bout against Miguel Robles, who tipped the scales at 117 pounds at Friday’s weigh-in at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, Calif., the site of Saturday’s fight.
Caballero (18-0, 10 knockouts), who is from nearby Coachella, Calif., headlines the Golden Boy Live! card, which will be televised on Fox Sports Net and Fox Deportes on Saturday. The 22-year-old boxer-puncher has not fought since stopping former title challenger Luis Maldonado in four rounds in January.
Robles (12-2-2, 5 KOs), of San Juan, Puerto Rico, is coming off an eight-round decision loss to Felix Perez in April.
Joseph Diaz Jr. (5-0, 3 KOs), a 2012 U.S. Olympian from South El Monte, Calif., weighed in at 123.5 pounds for his scheduled six-round featherweight bout against Puerto Rico’s Luis Cosme (8-2-1, 3 KOs), who weighed in at 123 pounds.
Diaz’s Olympic teammate Errol Spence Jr. (6-0, 5 KOs), of Dallas, weighed in at 147.5 pounds for his scheduled six rounder against Utah’s Eddie Cordova (4-4-1, 1 KO), who also weighed in at 147.5.
Terrell Gausha (4-0, 2 KOs), a 2012 U.S. Olympian, from Cleveland, Ohio, will face Puerto Rico’s Julio Garcia (6-4, 3 KOs) in a four-or-six-round TV swing bout. Gausha, who weighed in at 160 pounds, will look to rebound from a tougher-than-expected struggle with William Waters in April, against Garcia, who weighed in at 168 pounds.
The Fox Sports Net/Fox Deportes broadcasts begin at 8:00 p.m. PT/ 11:00 p.m. ET.
