Seats added to Perez-Riovalle UniMas show
Due to a high volume of early ticket sales, 200 seats have been added to the Solo Boxeo Tecate show headlined by the Alejandro Perez-Edgar Riovalle junior lightweight fight on Saturday at Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, Calif., according to a press release from Bash Boxing, the co-promoter of UniMas-televised card.
The eight-bout card, which is co-headlined by Japanese star Takahiro Ao, is co-promoted by Top Rank and Art of Boxing Promotions. Ao (23-3-1, 10 knockouts), a former featherweight and 130-pound beltholder who is making his U.S. debut, will face Chilean journeyman Hardy Paredes in a scheduled eight-round bout.
Perez (17-3-1, 11 KOs), a 27-year-old boxer-slugger from Salinas, Calif., has looked sharp in his last two bouts, a stoppage of spoiler Derrick Wilson and a decision over previously unbeaten Art Hovhannisyan. Riovalle (35-14-2, 25 KOs) is a rugged and well-traveled 26-year-old veteran from Mexico City.
First bell is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT. The televised bouts will begin at 8:00 p.m.
