Unbeaten lightweight prospects Omar Figueroa Jr. and Abner Cotto will square off in the co-featured bout to the Showtime-televised junior middleweight showdown between Saul Alvarez and Austin Trout on April 20 in San Antonio, Texas.

Figueroa (20-0-1, 16 knockouts), a 23-year-old slugger from Weslaco, Texas, and Cotto (16-0, 7 KOs), a 25-year-old boxer from Caguas, Puerto Rico, will fight their scheduled 10-round bout in front of more than 30,000 fans who have bought tickets to witness Alvarez and Trout compete for the vacant RING 154-pound championship at the Alamodome.

The fights will air live on Showtime at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT. Alvarez-Trout is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, Canelo Promotions and Leija & Battah Promotions in association with Greg Cohen Promotions.
