David Haye’s plan to challenge Vitali Klitschko in September for the World Boxing Council title was scuppered on Friday when the WBC sanctioning body aligned itself with the British Boxing Board of
Control, threatening “to expel” anyone involved in the controversial Haye v Dereck Chisora fight on July 14.
