The judges for the Wladimir Klitschko-David Haye heavyweight title-unification fight will be chosen collectively by the WBA, WBO and IBF sanctioning bodies.

The Klitschko and Haye camps have formally agreed that the three officials responsible for scoring the long-awaited showdown on July 2 in Hamburg must reflect the three belts on the line.

And though the potentially tricky matter has yet to be resolved, both Adam Booth, manager of WBA titleholder Haye, and German counterpart Bernd Boente, who looks after WBO and IBF titleholder Klitschko, do not envision any major problems.

"We are representing and are represented by the WBA, and Wladimir by the IBF and WBO,” Booth said. “The governing bodies will agree on the officials between them. We have already agreed to allow them to choose collectively amongst themselves."

Boente, meanwhile, explained the criteria required.

"We all have to be happy with the officials,” he said. “The only thing we all want and expect are absolutely neutral officials.”
