A weekly boxing list compiled by Michael Rosenthal. This week: In honor of rabbi-to-be Yuri Foreman, ten Jewish boxers in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Foreman defends his 154-pound title against Miguel Cotto on Saturday at Yankee Stadium.

Abe Attell (72-11-18, 39 KOs): Allegedly involved in the 1919 Black Sox scandal. Career: 1900-17
Jackie “Kid” Berg (157-26-9, 61 KOs): Briton won 64 of 76 fights in the U.S. Career: 1924-45
Joe Choynski (56-14-7, 37 KOs): Knocked out a young Jack Johnson. Career: 1887-1904
Jackie Fields (72-9-2, 31 KOs): U.S. Olympic gold medalist in 1924 – at 16 years old. Career: 1925-33
Louis “Kid” Kaplan (109-21-13, 29 KOs): Greatest Ukrainian-born fighter. Career: 1918-33
Benny Leonard (91-5-1, 71 KOs): Recognized as the greatest Jewish fighter ever. Career: 1911-32
Ted “Kid” Lewis (193-29-13, 80 KOs): Perhaps the greatest British fighter ever. Career: 1909-29
Daniel Mendoza (no record available): Pioneer in relying more on skill than brawn. Career: Late 18th century
Barney Ross (72-4-3, 22 KOs): Four-time champion and later WWII war hero. Career: 1929-38
Maxie Rosenbloom (207-39-26, 19 KOs): Great defensive fighter. Career: 1923-39
