Junior bantamweight titleholder Vic Darchinyan will move up in weight to challenge bantamweight belt holder Joseph Agbeko on July 11 in Sunrise, Fla, on Showtime.

Darchinyan (32-1, 26 KOs)is coming off spectacular knockouts of Cristian Mijares and Jorge Arce, which earned him the No. 10 spot in THE RING pound-for-pound ratings.

Agbeko (26-1,22 KOs)will be making the second defense of the title he won by stopping Luis Alberto Perez in 2007. He outpointed William Gonzalez in his first defense in December.
