Manny Pacquiao will be honored by Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the Filipino community at 10 a.m. Saturday at 3200 Temple St., near the intersection of Robinson St.

The event is open to the public.

Pacquiao is THE RING's pound-for-pound champion and its fighter of the year in 2008, which he capped by knocking out Oscar De La Hoya on Dec. 6.

Pacquaio faces Ricky Hatton on May 2 in Las Vegas.
