Brinkley-Gilbert broadcast schedule
Jesse Brinkley's bloody 12-round decision over fellow season one of The Contender alum Joey Gilbert that took place at the Reno Events Center in Reno, Nev. on February 14 will be broadcast on select cable systems in the U.S. this week.
Fight fans will be able to see the long awaited grudge match that lived up to it's billing of “Civil War” and thrilled a packed house of over 7,000 Northern Nevada fight fans.
The two-hour broadcast, presented by “Let’s Get It On” Promotions and TKO BOXING Promotions, will also include outstanding undercard action featuring the entertaining eight-round co-main event between featherweight prospect Rafael Valenzuela and veteran Yogli Herrera.
The action was called by RingTV.com’s Doug Fischer along with Steve Munisteri. Former WBC 154-pound titleholder and winner of season one of The Contender Sergio Mora also assisted with the broadcast of the main event.
