Dan Goossen, promoter of unbeaten heavyweight Chris Arreola, said he continues to have conversations with Wladimir Klitschko's handlers about a fight this spring.

Goossen was asked whether he believes his relatively inexperienced fighter is ready for such a challenge.

He said very often what seems to be the right move (for example, Kelly Pavlik fighting Bernard Hopkins) turns out to be the wrong move.

And vice versa. What might seem to be the wrong move could turn out well.

“We believe Chris has the right style for Klitschko,” Goossen said. “And we think he's ready. We wouldn't be having discussions about it if we didn't think so.”

Goossen was reminded that most observers would view it as a mismatch.

His response: “I think you have to give Klitschko more credit than that.”
