Felix Sturm, THE RING's No. 2-rated middleweight contender, retained his WBA title with a competitive but unanimous decision over Khoren Gevor in Nuerburg, Germany on Saturday.

Sturm (33-2-1, 14 KOs) won by scores of 115-113 (twice) and 117-111. It was the seventh title defense of his second WBA title reign.

Gevor, THE RING's No. 4-rated middleweight contender, was reportedly the aggressor for much of the fight, but Sturm's harder and more accurate punches impressed the judges. Gevor (30-4, 16 KOs) was reportedly stunned numerous times during the bout.
