Junior middleweight prospect Daniel Jacobs will face George Walton in a 10-round middleweight bout on ESPN2’s “Friday Night Fights” on June 26 in Tucson, Ariz.

Former Olympians Erislandy Lara of Cuba and Deontay Wilder of Tuscaloosa, Ala., also are in featured fights. Their opponents have not been selected.

Jacobs (16-0, 14 knockouts) is a bright prospect but was pushed in his last fight, a decision victory over rugged Michael Walker on the undercard of Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton on May 2. Jacobs took the fight on short notice.

Walton (20-3, 12 KOs) lost badly in his biggest test, against Fulgenico Zuniga in 2004, and then took almost four years off. He is 4-0 in his comeback, which began in May of last year.

Jacobs and Walton are both from New York City.

Lara (6-0, 4 KOs) has steamrolled his opponents with his speed and all-around ability. He’s a former amateur star who defected last year.

Wilder (5-0, 5 KOs) is 6 feet, 7 inches. He won a bronze medal at in the 2008 Olympics.
