A special St. Patrick’s Day boxing event – free to the public – will take place outdoors Wednesday (March 17) evening at Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles.

The event, presented by Golden Boy Promotions and AEG, will feature the professional debuts of four L.A.-area prospects and other festivities. The first fight is at 7:30 p.m. but fans are encouraged to arrive by 6:30 p.m. to take part in the activities.

Oscar De La Hoya, president of Golden Boy, and members of the Golden Boy fighter roster will be present to meet fans.

The event, dubbed St. Patrick's Fight Night Club Special at L.A. LIVE, is being presented in association with Fight Night Club, a monthly boxing series at Club Nokia.

The scheduled fights, all four-rounders: welterweight Bobby Reyes of Valencia vs. Alfredo Rivera (0-5) of L.A.; junior featherweight Jesus Rodrigues of L.A. vs. Juan Sandoval (1-0, 1 KO); junior welterweight Oscar Andrade of L.A. vs. Nichaulas Briannes (1-4) of Portland, Ore.; and the opponent of featherweight Art Martirosyan of Glendale has yet to be determined.

As a special St. Patrick's Day-only promotion, anyone buying two tickets to a future Fight Night Club event will receive a $25 game card from the ESPN Zone at L.A. LIVE.
