Adrien Broner is out of jail and headed home as this story is being typed up.

His coach, Mike Stafford, from Ohio where he’s training Robert Easter for a Sept. 9 scrap, told RingTV.com that his kid has been sprung and is looking forward to reuniting with family in Cincy.

Stafford told me he visited AB a few times in the lockup and counseled him to stay on the straight and narrow. “For the kids, his kids. He has to be there for them, to raise them, not anyone else. Do it for them if nobody else,” Stafford told him.

The coach said he thinks AB could be fighting in October. No definites on who, though he mentioned “a Ricky Burns type.”

Broner got sentenced to do 30 days on July 20 after pissing off a judge by showing up late for the start of a trial which has him facing an assault and a robbery charge.
