Vyacheslav Shabranskyy versus Derrick Findley on April 15

Unbeaten light heavyweight Vyacheslav Shabranskyy will fight Derrick Findley on April 15, Golden Boy Promotions matchmaker Robert Diaz told RingTV late Thursday afternoon.
The eight-round bout will take place at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, California. Shabranskyy-Findley will precede the highly-anticipated junior middleweight showdown between Jesus Soto Karass and Yoshihiro Kamegai.
Both fights will air live on Estrella TV, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT. RingTVLive.com will begin airing preliminary action at 5:30 p.m. local time.
Originally from Ukraine, Shabranskyy has created and built a following of sorts in the Los Angeles area, where he currently resides.
Findley (23-18-1, 15 KOs) has faced a long list of prospects and contenders over his 10-year career with mixed results.
In his last bout on March 4, Findley knocked Dezi Ford out in the first round. The 31-year-old has lost to Maciej Sulecki, Zac Dunn, Arif Magomedov, Maxim Vlasov and Jesse Hart.
Findley did score an upset of sorts in Aug. of 2014, defeating Lamar Russ by decision, despite fighting with a huge hematoma over his right eye.
Also on the Golden Boy Promotions card, amateur standout Genaro Gamez will make his pro debut against Archie Weah in a four-round junior lightweight bout.
