Rocky Fielding believes he has the power to knock out Callum Smith when the two unbeaten super middleweights clash for the British title in their home city of Liverpool, England, on Nov. 21.

Fielding believes that Smith, rated No. 10 by THE RING at 168 pounds, has struggled to put away two of his tougher opponents in Nikola Sjekloca and Christopher Rebrasse, and is convinced that a clean shot to the chin will result in a stoppage.

“He’s been in with Sjekloca and Rebrasse who cannot punch and gone the distance,” said Fielding. “They caught him with shots that I would hurt him with. (Smith) is a good fighter, he’s doing his thing, but when we get in there they will see what I’m capable of.

“Smith has been putting away blown up middleweights with body shots. He put Rebrasse down with one but then he got up. Take that away and what’s he got? I come in throwing shots from different angles, with both hands, and I’ve been knocking people clean out – putting them to sleep like I did with Luke Blackledge.

“The city has wanted a massive fight for years and we’re going to deliver it.”

Also on the card, Scott Cardle defends his lightweight title against Sean ‘Masher’ Dodd, Chris Jenkins and Tyrone Nurse rematch for the vacant British junior welterweight title – while in the chief support bout, Ricky Burns faces Josh King at lightweight.
