WBO lightweight titleholder Darleys Perez and challenger Anthony Crolla both weighed in at 134.8 pounds for their eagerly anticipated championship bout which takes place in Manchester, England, on Saturday.

Perez (32-1, 20 knockouts) was upgraded to full champion when former belt holder Richar Abril was stripped for failing to make a title defense. Crolla (29-4-2, 11 KOs) has made an almost miraculous recovery from a fractured skull and a broken ankle, sustained in a serious assault last December, to whip himself into excellent fighting shape.

Scott Quigg, THE RING No. 3 rated junior featherweight, weighed in at 121.8 pounds for his “regular” WBA title defense against Kiko Martinez who was 121.6. [Editor’s Note: THE RING only recognizes Guillermo Rigondeaux as WBA titleholder at 122 pounds]

Quigg (30-0-2, 22 KOs) will be looking to seriously shine against Martinez. The power-punching Spaniard (32-5, 24 KOs) has lost to Quigg’s domestic nemesis Carl Frampton on two occasions and, in September of last year, surrendered his IBF junior featherweight title to the Belfast man.
