Glen Tapia will fight Daniel Dawson in a 10-round junior middleweight bout on the Amnat Ruenroeng-Zou Shiming undercard on March 7, in Macau, China, Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman confirmed to RingTV.com on Saturday.

Tapia (22-1, 14 knockouts) has won his last two bouts in a row since being stopped in the sixth round at the hands of James Kirkland in December of 2013.

Six months after the Kirkland bout, Tapia stopped Keenan Collins in the first round. In his last bout on October 4, Tapia stopped Donatas Bondrovas in the fourth round.

Tapia hails from Passaic, New Jersey, but has been training with Freddie Roach at the Wild Card gym in Hollywood, California.

Dawson (40-4-1, 26 KOs) is coming off a 10-round unanimous decision loss to Austin Trout on Aug. 22. Dawson knocked Trout down twice in the third round before getting dropped in the eighth round. Dawson suffered a leg injury during the fight.

In the main event of the Top Rank card, Ruenroeng (14-0, 5 KOs) is scheduled to defend his IBF flyweight against Shiming (6-0, 1 KO).
