Whether or not they will ever fight in the ring is up for debate but Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao’s camps have recently engaged in a Twitter war.

On Wednesday, it was alleged that Pacquiao or a camp member took the first shot at Mayweather on an account under the boxer’s name.

“@FloydMayweather’s testimony to the commission on All Access’ authenticity tells me everything I need to know about his desire to fight me,” read the Tweet from the Pacquiao account.

A day earlier, Mayweather had appeared before the Nevada State Athletic Commission in Las Vegas, where the fighter attacked the credibility of an episode of Showtime’s “All Access” that aired during the build-up for his Sept. 13 unanimous decision over Marcos Maidana.

During the hearing, Mayweather charged that scenes in the documentary were heavily-edited or staged and that fake marijuana was used during a scene depicting marijuana use by female camp members.

On Friday, Mayweather responded, posting photos of a grounded Pacquiao from his sixth round stoppage loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in December 2012.

Pacquiao rose from a fourth round knockdown against Marquez that landed him on his backside but was planted face-first and motionless following a sensational right hand in the sixth.

“My new boxing DVD is coming soon and is called “3 Ways to Sleep”. Back, Face and Butt and I’m Falling & I Can’t Get Up…..,” read the first half of Mayweather’s tweet. “..Miss Pac Man is broke and desperate for a pay day. Your Pay-Per-View numbers are a joke.”

On Christmas Day, 2013, Mayweather tweeted a photo of himself standing next to a man who appears to resemble both Pacquiao and the eight-division fighter’s trainer, Freddie Roach.

“Manny Pacquiao mixed with Freddie Roach,” the caption read. “Meet Manny Roach.”
