At Friday’s weigh-in Mesa, a Phoenix, Az. suburb, for Saturday night’s Top Rank Promotions, UniMas-televised card at the Celebrity Theater, Russian welterweight Konstantin Ponomarev (24-0, 12 KOs) was 148.6 pounds and Cosme Rivera (37-18-3, 25 KOs) tipped the scales at 145.6.

Ukrainian light-heavyweight Oleksandr Gvozdyk, who is trained by Robert Garcia, was 175.2 pounds and Lamont Williams of Sacramento was 175.8.

Lithuanian welterweight Egidijus Kavaliauskas, also trained by Garcia, was 147.8 pounds. His opponent, Eduardo Flores of Ecuador was 145.6.

Phoenix light heavyweight Trevor McCumby was 173.6 and his opponent, Martin Verdin of Louisiana, weighed 176.0.
