THE RING’s No. 4-rated junior featherweight Scott Quigg will face Stephane Jamoye on Sept. 13 at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, England, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport announced in a release on Tuesday.

The hard-hitting Quigg (28-0-2, 21 knockouts) is 7-0-2 with seven knockouts in his past nine fights and will be after his third consecutive stoppage win against Jamoye (26-5, 16 KOs).

Quigg, 25, was last in action for a second round technical knockout of Tshifhiwa Munyai in April at Phones 4u Arena and will be making his third consecutive appearance at the venue against Jamoye.

Jamoye, 25, is coming off a 75-second knockout of Richard Voros in June that followed a failed bid to earn the WBC 118-pound belt in a ninth round stoppage loss to RING number two-rated bantamweight Shinsuke Yamanaka.

Quigg was initially scheduled to face former titleholder Paulus Ambunda, who pulled out recently due to an injury.

Also on the card is a lightweight bout between Andy Crolla and former titleholder Gamaliel Diaz. British Olympic gold medalist Anthony Joshua will also face an opponent to be determined.

In other bouts, lightweight Scotty Cardle will meet Kirk Goodings and welterweight Sam Eggington will face Denton Vassell.
