Tonight’s Golden Boy Live: Ed Paredes 150, Alfonso Gomez 150.2

Ed Paredes and Alfonso Gomez weighed 150 and 150.2 pounds, respectively, on Tuesday in advance of tonight’s “Golden Boy Live!” junior middleweight bout in Las Vegas. Fox Sports 1/Fox Deportes will broadcast the event.

Paredes (35-3-1, 23 knockouts) is 14-0-1 with 10 knockouts over the course of his past 15 fights, having last suffered defeat by unanimous decision against current IBF titleholder Carlos Molina in April 2009. Gomez (23-6-2, 12 KOs) will have been out of action for nearly two years since falling by unanimous decision to Shawn Porter on July 28, 2012.

For two featherweight bouts on the card, Joseph Diaz Jr. (10-0, 7 KOs) and Ramiro Robles (11-1-1, 6 KOs) weighed 123.6 and 124, and Diego De La Hoya (5-0, 3 KOs), first-cousin to Golden Boy President Oscar De La Hoya, came in at 124 to that of 122 for opponent Miguel Tamayo (14-8-2, 12 KOs).



Also, junior featherweights Oscar Negrete and Carlos Medina were 118.6 and 118.2, and featherweights Joet Gonzalez and David Clark were 122 and 122.6.
