Unbeaten lightweight prospect Ivan Redkach will take a significant step up in competition when he faces former European champ Sergey Gulyakevich in a 10-round bout on June 27.

The bout will headline a Friday Nights Fights telecast from the Ameristar Casino in Saint Charles, Missouri. DiBella Entertainment and Rumble Time Promotions will co-promote the card.

In the co-feature bout, unbeaten junior lightweights Ryan Kielczweski will fight once-beaten Ramsey Luna in an eight round.

The hard-hitting Redkach (16-0, 13 KOs) won a hard-fought 10-round unanimous decision over Tony Luis on January 17 in Memphis, Tenn. Hailing from Ukraine and now training and residing in the Los Angeles area, Redkach is eager to test the lightweight and junior welterweight waters, eyeing a possible title show at the end of 2014 or early 2015.

Gulyakevich, who resides in Minsk, Belarus, has an impressive record of 41-2, with 17 knockouts and is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over Kristian Dochev.

He has won his last 15 bouts in a row since a majority decision loss to Humberto Gutierrez (for an interim title) five years ago. However, all 15 of those victories were in four-, six-, or eight-round bouts and were against less than modest opposition.

Kielczweski (19-0, 4 KOs) has created quite a following in and around his hometown of Quincy, Mass. In a swing bout that appeared on a “Friday Nights Fights” telecast on July 19, Kielczweski dramatically stopped Miguel Soto with one punch in the fifth round.

In his last bout on March 17, Kielczweski won a one-sided six round unanimous decision over Guillermo Sanchez.

Luna (12-1, 5 KOs), who hails from Corpus Christi, Tex., won an eight round unanimous decision over Justo Vallecillo on May 31. His only defeat was to Toka Kahn Clary on Dec. 7, in a fight where Ramsey dropped Clary twice in the fight.
