From The Telegraph: Groves wants warrior spirit in Froch rematch

The rematch between Carl Froch and George Groves is far more than just another title fight. It is one of the most talked-about bouts in British boxing history, and one of the most poisonous.

The pair had almost come to blows on a Sky Sports boxing programme in the build-up to their first fight last November, while when the second was announced at Wembley in March, Froch almost sent Groves sprawling onto the turf.

Yet this is not the first time a pair of British fighters have been at each other’s throats before the bell has even rung. The gold standard for grudge fights in British boxing remains Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank’s second fight in Oct 1993, played out in front of 42,000 fans at Old Trafford.
