Junior middleweight Shane Mosley Jr. scored a 34-second knockout over 32-year-old Mark Cordova with a left hook to the body in his professional debut on Saturday. The fight took place on the undercard of junior welterweight Jose Zepeda's unanimous decision over Rob Frankel at Oceanview Pavilion, Port Hueneme, Calif.

Mosley's opponent is 0-2, having been knocked out twice.

Zepeda (19-0, 17 knockouts) resumed form after his winning streak of nine straight stoppage victories ended in his previous fight, a unanimous decision over Luis Arceo in October. Frankel is 32-15-1, with 6 knockouts.

In other bouts on the card, featherweight Saul Rodriguez (13-0-1, 10 KOs) scored his fifth consecutive knockout against Miguel Zamudio (29-4-1, 16 KOs), doing so in the fourth round, and light heavyweights Trevor McCumby (15-0, 12 KOs) came up with his second straight first-round knockout against Rafael Valenzuela (9-3, 1 KO).
