Perfect Execution, the popular illustrated technical guide to boxing by legendary champion Bernard Hopkins, is back as a regular feature in the pages of THE RING magazine, starting with the July 2014 issue. RingTV’s Bill Emes ventured to Philadelphia, prior to Hopkins’ recent IBF-WBA light heavyweight title unification victory over Beibut Shumenov, to caputure a behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot and interview for the ongoing series.

The first installment of the new Perfect Execution focuses on boxing’s most fundamental punch — the jab. Hopkins teaches you how to deliver a proper jab, how to block and counter your opponent’s jab, how to stop an opponent in his tracks with a body jab, and other techniques with assistant trainer Danny Davis.
