Junior featherweight contender Scott Quigg will face Tshifhiwa Munyai on April 19 at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, England, live on Sky Sports, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport announced on Friday.

The 25-year-old Quigg (27-0-2, 20 knockouts)  is 6-0-2, with six knockouts in his past eight fights, and is coming off a second-round stoppage victory over Diego Oscar Silva in November.

The 28-year-old Munyai (24-2-1, 12 KOs) will be after his third straight win and was last in the ring for an an eighth-round stoppage of Phumzile Matyhila in September.

Munyai replaces Nehomar Cermeno (22-5-1, 13 KOs), who was forced out of the bout due to visa issues, according to Hearn. Munyai is 5-1 in England.

"It’s a great fight for Scott, and, in my opinion, a much tougher test than Cermeno,” said Hearn. "Munyai is no stranger to these shores and is impressive form coming into the fight. Scott is in fantastic shape and ready to make a big statement as we eye unification fights this summer."

Quigg-Munyai will be supported by a lightweight bout between Anthony Crolla (27-4-1, 10 KOs) and John Murray (33-2, 20 KOs).
