Kathy Duva: Vyacheslav Glazkov could return in June or August
Unbeaten heavyweight Vyacheslav Glazkov, coming off Saturday's unanimous decision over Tomasz Adamek, could return to the ring in June or August on an NBC Sports Net Fight Night show, according to Kathy Duva of Main Events.
A 29-year-old from Ukraine, Glazkov (17-0-1, 11 knockouts) ended a five-fight winning streak for Adamek (49-3, 29 KOs) since he fell by 10th-round stoppage to then-WBC titleholder Vitali Klitschko in 2011.
"I do not yet know what Adamek wants to do," said Duva.
Glazkov won by scores of 116-112, 117-110, and 117-111 on the cards of John Poturaj, Julie Lederman and Kevin Morgan, respectively. Adamek, who is 37, had last been in the ring for a unanimous decision over Dominick Guinn in August.
Glazkov-Adamek was the main event of an NBC Sports Net Fight Night show on Saturday at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pa.
