Manny Pacquiao accused Floyd Mayweather Jr. of having "many alibis" for not fighting him during a Wednesday studio interview with ESPN's Keith Olbermann.

Pacquiao is in New York promoting his rematch with WBO welterweight titleholder Timothy Bradley on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He lost to Bradley by split-decision in June of 2012 before being stopped in the sixth-round by Juan Manuel Marquez in December of that same year. But the eight-division titlewinner is coming off a unanimous decision over Brandon Rios last November.

Pacquiao was asked by Olbermann, "are you going to fight Floyd Mayweather at some point?"

"I want the fight, but it's up to him. What I can say now is our line is open 24 hours, seven days a week," said Pacquiao. "So 24 hours, seven days a week, if he will call and say 'Yes,' then the fight will be there."

Meanwhile, Mayweather continues to keep the world guessing about whom he will fight when he returns to the ring on May 3 at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, having recently stated on his Twitter account that he will allow his fans to decide whether his next opponent will be England's Amir Khan or Argentina's Marcos Maidana.

Mayweather has said that a bout with Pacquiao "won't happen" because of Pacquiao is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions rival Top Rank.

Asked by Olbermann, "to (the) best of your knowledge, that's why the fight hasn't happened because he doesn't want to do it?"

"That's what I believe," said Pacquiao, who was then asked if "(he) is ashamed that the fight hasn't happened" and "is it something the sport needs and that the fans need and have been denied?"

"Thousands, millions of fans are waiting for that fight and been asking me many questions about when will that fight happen," said Pacquiao. "I tell them I am willing to fight him any time but the problem is him he makes many reasons and many alibis. Operators are standing by 24 hours, seven days a week."
