Randy Caballero will take on Miguel Robles in a Golden Boy Live! main event at the Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio, Calif., on Saturday, Golden Boy matchmaker Eric Gomez confirmed to RingTV.com.

Caballero (18-0, 10 knockouts), of Coachella, Calif., and Puerto Rico’s Robles (12-2-2, 5 KOs) became the headliner after welterweight prospect Frankie Gomez (15-0, 11 KOs) suffered a knee injury and had to pull out of his schedule bout with well-traveled former WBO 140-pound beltholder DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley (39-20-1, 23 KOs).

“We’re going to have to postpone it. He hurt his left knee. He’s got some sort of bruise or a contusion, so the fight is off. It’s very frustrating,” said Gomez, no relation to the 21-year-old amateur standout from East L.A.

“The letter we got from the doctor says two or three months, so we’ll see. But we’re going to do the card. We’re going to move Randy Caballero to the main event, and we’re going with three Olympians, Jo-Jo Diaz, Errol Spence and Terrell Gausha. They all have opponents.”

Gausha (4-0, 2 KOs) will face Puerto Rico’s Julio Garcia (6-4, 3 KOs) in a middleweight bout, Joseph Diaz Jr. (5-0, 3 KOs) takes on Puerto Rico’s Luis Cosme (8-2-1, 3 KOs) in a featherweight matchup, and junior middleweight Spence (6-0, 5 KOs) faces Utah’s Eddie Cordova (4-4-1, 1 KO) as part of an seven-bout card.

The event will be televised live on Fox Sports Net, Fox Deportes and on a delayed basis on FuelTV.
