Top Rank CEO Bob Arum informed RingTV.com on Friday that he planned to meet with Mike Alvarado in Las Vegas to clear up any issues the fighter has regarding a proposed Oct. 19 fight with Ruslan Provodnikov, who already has agreed to face Alvarado in a clash for the WBO’s junior welterweight belt.

“I’m meeting with him at my office on Monday,” said Arum. “We’re going to sit down and we’ll get it resolved.”

Alvarado (34-1, 23 knockouts) has expressed discontent over the money being offered by Top Rank for the bout with Provodnikov (22-2, 15 KOs), which is being targeted for HBO in Denver, near Alvarado’s hometown of Thornton.

“Listen the fight will probably happen, but we need to get my money right first,” wrote Alvarado on his Twitter account recently. “Mr. Arum is a great man and I’m sure he will get it done.”

Alvarado was last in the ring for a unanimous-decision win over Brandon Rios in March that avenged his seventh-round stoppage loss to Rios in October of last year.

Provodnikov is coming off a unanimous decision loss in March to WBO beltholder Tim Bradley, whom Provodnikov dropped in the 12th round.
