Junior middleweights Vanes Martirosyan and Demetrius Andrade could meet for the WBO’s vacant belt on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios fight in Macau on Nov. 23 (Nov. 24 in China), Top Rank CEO Bob Arum informed RingTV.com.

“We’re going to be talking about that as a possibility,” said Arum, who handles Martirosyan. “We’re going to discuss putting that fight on in Macau on the Pacquiao-Rios card.”

Martirosyan and Andrade are ranked Nos. 1 and 2 by the WBO, whose former titleholder, Zaurbek Baysangurov, of the Ukraine, has an injury, “so they’re going to vacate his title, which is part of the deal that they had with (the) purse bid, and then, No. 1 and No. 2 will fight each other,” according to Artie Pelullo, Andrade’s promoter.

Martirosyan (33-0-1, 21 knockouts) is coming off a second-round knockout of Ryan Davis in June that helped him to rebound from a draw with Erislandy Lara in November of last year.

A former 2008 U.S. Olympian, Andrade (19-0, 13 KOs) was last in the ring for a unanimous decision over Freddy Hernandez in January that ended Andrade’s streak of four consecutive stoppage victories.
