Top Rank CEO Bob Arum informed RingTV.com that unbeaten Terence Crawford is being targeted for the Oct. 5 undercard of Miguel Cotto’s HBO-televised return to the ring.

A lightweight/junior welterweight prospect, Crawford (21-0, 16 knockouts) is coming off consecutive victories by unanimous decision and sixth-round knockout over Breidis Prescott and Alejandro Sanabria, respectively.

Crawford’s opponent still is being worked out, according to Arum.

Cotto’s legal advisor, Gaby Penagaricano, listed Marlins Stadium in Miami and the Amway Center in Orlando as possible venues for the bout.
