Puerto Rico’s Orlando Cruz will face Mexico’s Orlando Salido for the WBO’s vacant featherweight belt on the Oct. 12 undercard of the Tim Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez fight at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum told RingTV.com.

Cruz (20-2-1, 10 knockouts) will be after his fifth straight win and his fourth stoppage victory during that run against (39-12-2, 27 KOs), who was last in the ring for an eighth-round technical decision loss to Mikey Garcia in January.

Garcia won the WBO belt from Salido, who is managed by Sean Gibbons, but lost it on the scales after missing weight for last month’s fourth-round knockout of Juan Manuel Lopez. Cruz is coming off a sixth-round knockout of Aalan Martinez in March.

Bradley-Marquez will be televised on HBO Pay Per View.
